How to examine your own breasts

The simplest and most inexpensive way to detect breast cancer is by examining your own breasts (aware). Investigation performed at the third to the fifth day after menstruation because at that time the breast is not so sensitive anymore or swell. But if you're menopausal, specify the date routine to realize.

Maybe a bit takes time, but not difficult. Here's how:
- Stand in front of the mirror. With both arms on the side, note the breast is there any part that becomes concave or drawn inwards. Note also the change in size. Make sure that the nipple is not interested in, but it has always been thus.

- Using soap or cream, wet your breast. Put your left hand behind your head and check the breasts with hand hand. Suppose that the surface of the breast like a clock and place your right hand into position at 12, at the top of the breast.

- With three fingers (index, middle and ring finger), do a small circular movements and feel whether there is a bump. At each position to do little emphasis mild, moderate, and deep pressure. Then move your hand to 1 o'clock, 2 o'clock, and so on. When you're back to the 12 o'clock position, slide the fingertips closer to the nipple and repeat the same movement.

- To check the discharge from the nipple, make a V shape with your thumb and index finger and put it in the left and right nipple. Tap into aerola and slowly pull it upward. The principle is to do the nipple turning carefully and note whether there is fluid or blood coming out of the nipple.

- End by examining the area closest to the breast, below the armpit, because there is no breast tissue and lymph channels that drain lymph benting benting into the breast tissue.

- Repeat the entire procedure using the left hand in right breast.
